About This Opportunity

The Midlands African Chamber of Commerce is one of the most active business development organizations for African and African American entrepreneurs in the Omaha metro. They run daily programming: Xcelerate Mondays (business acceleration), Roll Call Wednesdays (accountability), Power Up Thursdays (skill-building), and Pitch Black Fridays (pitch practice and investor networking). Annual flagship event: Pitch Black Conference — a major entrepreneurship and pitch competition offering $15,000 prize money and $40,000 in in-kind support. The 2026 Pitch Black Conference is scheduled for May 2, 2026. Attending weekly events is free.

Who Can Apply

Open to all. Primarily serves African and African American business owners and entrepreneurs, but all are welcome. Pitch Black Conference open to entrepreneurs of all backgrounds.
